Man, 76, charged after allegedly stabbing neighbour, 81, in driveway

A 76-year-old man has been charged aft he allegedly stabbed his 81-year-old neighbour successful Perth's south.

The man confronted nan female successful nan driveway of her Ringarooma Way, Willetton location astir 1.30pm (3.30pm AEST) yesterday.

He allegedly produced a weapon and assaulted nan woman, causing superior injuries to her.

St John WA treated nan female astatine nan segment and took her to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment, pinch her injuries deemed to beryllium non-life-threatening.

Police attended nan segment astatine Willetton and recovered nan man nearby, taking him into custody.

He was subsequently charged pinch 1 count of causing bodily harm pinch intent.
